Beauti-Tone's no VOC colorants have been tested in a number of Home Hardware stores, using measures including colour accuracy, freeze/thaw tolerance, coverage, performance, and consumer satisfaction. "As important as it is to protect the environment, it is also important to homeowners that the paint they use performs well in both coverage and usability and is virtually odourless," says Bell. "In every way, these paints met or exceeded expectations," adds Bell.
No VOC colorants began being phased in across the country this month and will be utilized in all Home Hardware, Home Building Centre and Home Hardware Building Centre stores by the end of summer, 2011.
