Designers are putting their mark on their creations, not only in the traditional way with a signature or logo, but by adding little surprises that delight the wearer and set their design apart. For example, Simon Chang, with his beautifully lined "little black cape" has added a dramatic twist to an old favourite and proven that classic pieces become even more beautiful with the touches of unexpected colour and pattern. And why not do the same with Beauti-Tone paint?
Paint is a sophisticated and simple way to refresh, renew, delight and, most importantly, to customize with personality. Whether it's a piece of furniture that you have owned for years, a coveted piece you have recently acquired, ready-to-assemble furniture, or a fantastic garage sale find, the transforming moment from "blah to ah!" is in the simple introduction of a touch of colour. Inspiration can be painted anywhere - inside drawers, closets, book case. It's that secret spot of colour that delights.

Secret Spots:
Green + Gorgeous
Beauti-Tone paint launches the newest in paint technology, a waterborne anti-corrosive Rust Coat. It is environmentally friendly, with low VOCs that make it Earthcare approved. I love it! Its anti-corrosive properties work on all metals, with no primer needed, just two coats of product. And it boasts the added convenience of easy water clean-up. The high gloss finish is outstanding, with the look of a factory baked enamel finish. The finished results are amazing. I am obsessed with finding things to paint with it - tired old metalware, metal, wood or plastic furniture, children's toys and furniture, bikes and doors. In fact, virtually any substrate where I want a safe, environmentally high gloss enamel finish.

Spring Coat
This metal lunchbox (6445-206) was lightly sanded with 220 grit sandpaper then given two coats of each colour. I painted the outside FD036 Irish Sea. We painted the inside LC010 Tulle and stenciled Post Marks (1682- 662) using Irish Sea.
Pitcher Perfect
I jazzed up this tired galvanized metal pitcher by painting it with FD010 Prom Dress.
