Clay potsClay pots make a fun container to bake cupcakes or mini-cakes for a garden inspired celebration.

We used 4" clay pots (5059-651).

Step By Step

  1. Wash clay pot, rinse and let dry.
  2. Spray the pot twice with cooking oil.
  3. Line the inside of the clay pot up to the bottom of the rim with parchment paper (4411-292). Cut a circle of parchment paper to line the bottom of the clay pot.
  4. Make your cake batter and fill the clay pot to slightly below rim. Bake according to directions. Frost when cool.

Flowers

Bamboo skewers (4038-758) create wonderful candy flower kebobs. Use gumdrops, Swedish berries and marshmallow to create the flowers.

Caution: Remember that the skewers are sharp. Cut to blunt the pointed end. Flowers should be created by children old enough to handle the project and eaten under adult supervision.
