This easy-to-spread Lawn Top Dressing is for starting a new lawn, over seeding established lawns, or for repairing bare spots.
Seed: The premium all-purpose grass seed is ideal for sunny to moderately shady areas. New grass appears in 5-7 days! The grass seed contains a fertilizer coating that adds enough weight to spread evenly without separating from the compost, and gives a boost to the young grass seedlings as they send roots down into the soil.
Feed: A starter fertilizer has been added to help the young grass plants green-up and establish quickly.
Compost: The pelletized compost ingredient is easy to spread and provides all the benefits listed above. Follow up with Home Gardener Lawn Top Dressing with Fertilizer 10-0-6 when the grass seed is well established; usually after the third cut.
