R-Scratch 1400 is a blend of Portland cement, graded silica aggregates and chemical modifiers used for metal lathe (in a Scratch coat) for setting ceramic tile
R-Scratch 1400 is designed for interior floor applications of ceramic, mosaic, quarry and paver tile stones over plywood substrates R-Scratch can be mixed with water as well as 1411 R-Bond Liquid latex additive depending upon the desired performance level CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS: 1. Wooden sub floors shall be designed and of a thickness so as to maintain deflection of less than 1/360th the span 2. The sub floor should be of exterior plywood secured with screw like nails and glued where possible 3. Surfaces must be clean of any foreign substances 4. Recommended thickness application range 1/16 to 1 inch 5. Temperature: recommended range during application is 50-80ºF (10-27ºC) 6. R-Scratch is not a recommended floor-patching compound COVERAGE:
