Overview

2-Part Epoxy Sealer

• Water-borne, 2-part, clear epoxy coating used over Beauti-Tone spreadable stone coatings, concrete, wood, etc.
• For interior applications, Beauti-Tone Epoxy Clear Coat is the product of choice for top coat durability on HardRock, FlexRock and Granite finishes
• Ideal for use as a sealer on garage floors, countertops, stairways, kitchen floors, tabletops, reception areas, bathroom floors, hallways, showrooms, basement floors, mudrooms, shower floors, etc. SURFACE PREPARATION:
• Surfaces must be clean and dry, stable and free from spalling, efflorescence, dust dirt, oils, surface flaking, poorly bonded or glossy paint, sealers, salts and other contaminents which may effect adhesion and product performance
• Temperature should be at least 10 degrees Celsius during application and for 24 hours after MIXING EPOXY COMPONENTS:
• Epoxy parts must be fully blended before application
• Pour contents of "Part B" into "Part A" in original packaging or other suitable mixing container
• Mix components for three minutes using a stir stick or a small drill mixer
• While blending, limit the introduction of air into the mix
• Mix only what you need SLIP RESISTANT ADDITIVE:
• Included is a slip resistant additive
• Pour contents of the bag into the blended epoxy kit and stir thoroughly until uniform POT LIFE:
• 5 hours (3 - 4 hours in very warm conditions)
• Pot life refers to the usable life of the mixed epoxy system APPLICATION TOOLS:
• Paint brush or small rollers for edges and tight areas
• Medium pile lint-free fabric or foam roller for larger areas COVERAGE:
• Glaze coat: 350 sq.ft. (32 sq m) per 3L
• Standard coat: 250 sq.ft. (23 sq m) per 3L DRY & CURE TIMES:
• Tack-free dry: 3 hours
• Full cure: 7 days (can be longer with thicker coats) RECOAT TIMES:
• Re-coat as soon as 8 hours; 24hrs is best
• Not recommended for exterior use
