Overview

Varathane Premium Alkyd Wood Stain

• Formulated with a unique base for deeper penetration and premium pigments for clearer colour
• This results in a deeper, richer and more natural colour for the wood
• Ideal for use on interior projects including: furniture, cabinets, doors and trim, floors and panelling PREPARATION:
• Remove any existing finishes with sandpaper or stripper
• Prepare bare wood for staining by sanding in the direction of the grain
• Before staining, remove all dust, dirt, grease and glue
• Soft woods require a wood conditioner APPLICATION:
• Stir contents thoroughly
• Apply with a brush or clean, lint free cloth
• Apply the stain across the grain until the wood is saturated on top
• Wipe off excess stain in the direction of the wood grain
• A second coat can be applied after 2 hours COVERAGE:
• Approximately 1.47 sq. metres per 100 ml (15.9 sq ft per 100ml)
