Genersafe Generator Safety Hook-up

• CUL approved device that fits between your electrical meter and the meter socket
• Provides a safe and easy way to connect a generator to your home during a power outage
• Eliminates the use of extension cords and other connections that can be hazardous to customers and utility personnel
• Detects when a generator is operating and automatically disconnects from the utility grid, eliminating dangerous backfeed
• Installed in 20 minutes or less by utility personnel and does not require the customer's presence
• Easily installed behind a customer's electric meter and requires no rewiring of the customer's electrical system
• Flexibility to run virtually any appliance, up to the capacity of their generator by simply energizing appliances from their breaker panel
• Preferable to use a generator with a "floating neutral" that has a four-wire 120/240-volt outlet
• Contact your local electrical utility or your local electrical distributor where your unit was purchased and they will provide you with a contact
• Most local electrical utilities allows for one free meter disconnect per year
