Have a storm door or other glass area that could be subject to impact? Here's a great, safe solution to glass that is economical, safer than annealed glass, easy-to-install, and shatter-resistant. Impact and weather resistant, crystal clear Plaskolite OPTIX is a versatile, general-purpose acrylic sheet. Ten times tougher than glass and much safer, Optix acrylic panels flex to absorb impact. Independent lab tests have shown that while an Optix acrylic sheet may break, it does so in a safe manner, which will significantly reduce the likelihood of serious injury. Great for storm doors, windows, picture frames, interior storm windows, garage door windows, displays and signs this sheet is approx. 2mm or 0.080" or 5/64" (+/-5%) thick.
