PROJEX 1-7/8" x 500' Self Stick Joint Tape

Self-adhesive joint tape is thin and light, but extremely strong and easy to use, and greatly increases joint strength and durability for less cracking.

• Wall must be clean and dry
• Centre and apply tape over joint, press firmly
• Apply a generous first coat of compound over the tape, completely filling the joint crevice
• Wipe off any excess compound with drywall knife
• Let dry completely, then sand lightly
• Apply sufficient thin finishing coats to produce a smooth wall surface

CAUTION:

• Failure to completely fill the joint may result in cracking
• Special care must be taken with cut or butted boards that do not have a tapered edge
• For best results, use a setting-type compound
