Description
Elmer's Carpenter's Wood Filler is great for repairing holes, dents, scratches and defects on any wood, wallboard, molding or painted surfaces. All wood fillers are paintable and sandable, resists shrinking and cracking. It is solvent free with easy water cleanup.
Interior Wood Filler- Solvent free
- Holds screws and nails
- Not recommended for repairs subject to excessive movement, expansion and contraction or immersion in water
- Surface must be clean and dry; wood, filler and air temperature should be above 4'C
- Knead tube well before using
- Cut tip to desired bead width
- Squeeze to apply, remove excess with a putty knife
- Do not overspread filler on repair area to be stained
- Deep repairs may need 2 or more fillings
- Let dry between fillings
- Sand repairs after 15 minutes, deep repairs after 2-8 hours
- Avoid continuous high speed sanding
- Before filling, test stain with filler on scrap
- Apply water-based paint after 2 hours
- Apply oil-based stain, paint, varnish, polyurethane, shellac or water-based stain after top-coated with exterior grade finish
- Wash tools and hands with water before filler dries
