From GRK Fasteners, Star Drive structural screws prevent stripping, splitting and drilling. In case-hardened steel, the screws offer high tensile torque and shear strength. They are ideal for use in carrier beams, deck posts, playground equipment, as well as other builds. The screws have a six-point star drive for zero stripping. The sharp CEE thread bites into material fast to reduce the splitting effect. There's no need to predrill because the sharp Zip-Tip achieves quick penetration.
