This 41 US gallon 189 litre 58,000 BTU gas water heater is ideal for a family 5+ with regular water demand. A power direct vent heater is ideal when using inside air for combustion is not an option and a longer vent run is required, it is perfect for closet installations. The air is drawn from outside using a vent pipe and a rotatable motorized blower forces the exhaust outside. The GSW ENERGY STAR® Qualified Power Direct Vent is a very energy efficient heater which saves you money on energy costs and it’s more environmentally friendly. The 62,000 BTU is a higher input that can be used on combination applications as it offers a quicker recovery than standard input models.
