Better Flow Rate

Unlike traditional PEX barb fittings where the fitting’s OD is reduced to fit inside the PEX pipe, cold expansion fittings are installed by having the PEX-A pipe expanded to fit over the fitting. This results is a greater flow rate as the cold expansion fitting’s OD is not reduced to accommodate the pipe.
