Here’s How to Create a Games Room Feature Wall

Customize your games room with a funky lettered feature wall. Requiring a few simple materials, it can be fully personalized with themed word play or even your family’s favourite sayings.

Supplies: 

• pine panel 

• adhesive Velcro strips 

• adhesive letters 

• BeautiTone Wood-Shield Clear Coat

Tools: 

• measuring tape 

• pencil 

• saw (circular) 

• sandpaper/sanding blocks 

• level 

• paint brush or foam roller

Steps: 

1. Assemble all materials for project. 

2. Map out letter placement and words on your wall. 

3. Measure and cut pine planks to form 4 ½ -inch tiles. 

4. Lightly sand all edges of each tile. 

5. Apply Clear Coat to all sides of each tile. Let dry. 

6. Cut out adhesive letters. 

7. Peel and apply letters to each tile. 

8. Apply Velcro strips: one to the back of each tile and one to the wall. 

9. Press tiles into place on the wall. 

10. Enjoy your custom games room wall art.
