Colours always appear lighter on exterior surfaces; try going two shades darker than what you actually
want. Paint a sample and observe it throughout the day to see how the varying levels of light affect it.
NOTE: Do not apply a colour darker than the original to vinyl siding.

Undertones are important to consider; they’re more prevalent in exterior light, so make sure they work
with one another. the beauty of natural wood. A semi-transparent stain will allow the natural grain to show through.
