BURFORD, ONTARIO – September 13, 2023 — BeautiTone, the number one Canadian-made and owned retail paint brand, has revealed its 2024 Colour of the Year, “Illumina” (TR24-3-1), a soft yellow with notes of red, a nostalgic pop of cheerful colour.
The name “Illumina,” derived from the Latin word for “illuminate,” speaks to the colour’s ability to lighten up any space, from the kitchen to the bedroom, inspiring a sense of clarity and wellness and sparking feelings of hope.

As we move into a new era of colour, “Illumina” is setting the stage for a new direction. The colour represents a shift forward, beyond the desire for simplicity and ease, and toward inspiration and renewal. The centrepiece of the BeautiTone 2024 Colour Trends, “Illumina” is one of seven beautiful hues in the 2024 colour palette, along with four supporting neutrals.
