Victoria, B.C. store becomes part of Canada’s largest independent home improvement and building materials destination

VICTORIA, B.C. – July 21, 2026 – Home Hardware Stores Limited is pleased to announce an expanded presence on Vancouver Island with the addition of Lumberworld in Victoria, British Columbia.

For more than 50 years, Lumberworld has been a trusted name, recognized for knowledgeable service, quality products and deep-rooted connections within the community. Recently purchased by the equally well-known and trusted Central Builders Group, the store will operate as “Central Builders Lumberworld.”
