It also filters out tastes and odours. It reduces 99% of Lindane (a common pesticide) along with other chemicals. The solid block has a large surface area to prevent channeling and bypassing. That provides longer life and exceptional performance. The universal fit Rainfresh CF2 cartridges are designed for Rainfresh filter systems. They also work in most standard home water filter systems (under sink or inline).
