- It is a synthetic rope with UV inhibitors added to help prevent degradation due to sun exposure
- Mould and mildew resistant
- Does not absorb water which allows the rope to float and makes it a particularly useful in marine applications - Twisted polypropylene is abrasion resistant so it is also good to use to string tarps in trees as the rope will not catch or fray on the tree bark
