Flowers and vegetable garden beds in late spring or early summer prepare soil by turning over 15 cm- 20 cm of existing topsoil and blend in 5 cm of a single application of soil mix, working it into existing soil. Potting or repotting fill the new pot with fresh soil. Place the plant in the middle of the pot and fill in around with the soil. Lightly press the soil down and water well. Never forget to water well after planting. Depending on the type of plant and the growth pattern, fertilizer should be applied regularly approximately two weeks after planting.
