It is formulated for setting frames, faucets and basket strainers on natural surfaces including granite, marble, quartz, sandstone, and other natural, porous materials. Oatey Stain-Free Plumber’s Putty is a stain-free sealant for setting most types of plumbing fixtures, with just the right amount of tack to adhere and shape. It remains flexible, so it is easy to work with, molds easily, and cleans up easily.
