​St. Jacobs, ON, April 23, 2018 - Home Hardware Stores Limited is pleased to recognize Gow's Home Hardware as the recipient of the annual Walter J. Hachborn Store of the Year Award.

The award was presented on April 14, to Amanda Fancy, Dealer-Owner of Gow's Home Hardware for epitomizing the values on which Home Hardware was co-founded by Walter J. Hachborn over 50 years ago - value, service and dependability.

Now in its 21st year, the award pays tribute to the top store selected from close to 1,100 stores across Canada for achieving the highest standards in retailing, merchandising, Staff performance and overall quality and service.

Amanda Fancy and the Staff in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia are considered leaders within Home's Dealer-Owner network as well as within their community. In addition to providing superior customer service and expert advice, Gow's Home Hardware demonstrates extensive leadership qualities and was recognized with Canada's Best Hardware Store Award by Hardlines in 2017.
