Blight's Home Hardware is a family owned and operated business. It was one of the first businesses to open on Dunbar Street in Vancouver in 1946, founded by Mr. Harry Blightt and his father-in-law, Mr. Pulham. After Mr. Pulham's passing Harry ran the store until he was joined by Ted Blightt , together running the family store until 2003. In 2003, the business was bought over by Mr. Jeffrey Ho. His company philosophy is to carry on the friendly, personal service and advice that was a trademark of the store to assist you with your hardware and home maintenance needs.
Although the store is only a modest 3000 square feet, Blight's Home Hardware offers a wide selection of products to meet the needs of our customers. We have access to over 600,000 products in our warehouse. What we do not have in store can be Special Ordered in for you.
