1.	TI14SC – Home Hardware Item #: 1030-725
2.	TI14MC – Home Hardware Item #: 1030-726
3.	TB3MC Hammer – Home Hardware Item #: 1030-727

These professional quality hammers are very impressive and built to last. All contain titanium heads and generous 18" shafts. The weight is reduced by using titanium, allowing you greater ability to swing these hammers all day long. Strike face outlasts steel faces 3X longer - doesn't spall, crack and mushroom like steel heads. All are lightweight, ergonomic, and very well balanced. Titanium tools also produce 10 times less recoil shock which helps reduce carpal tunnel syndrome. The combination of these features means less down time, more productivity, and most importantly less pain while working. All 3 hammers have an axe-shaped handle.

First let's start with the TI14SC Stiletto Hammer (1030-725). This is a 14 oz. hammer with titanium head, smooth face and 18" curved hickory handle. Titanium allows this hammer the striking force of a 24 oz. steel hammer. Recommended for residential framing and remodeling. The head features a straight claw design and Stiletto's signature magnetic nail starter. The hickory handle is well constructed and balanced.

Next the TI14MC Stiletto Hammer (1030-726). This is a 14 oz. hammer with titanium head, milled face and 18" curved hickory handle. Virtually the same as the hammer above, except this one has a milled face.

Finally, the TB3MC or the Ti-Bone III hammer (1030-727). This comes with a 15 oz. titanium head and handle and an interesting replaceable face allowing you to choose between milled or smooth face. The face is anti-rotational which prevents the face coming loose while in use. It also contains a 180˚ side nail puller to ease nails out up to 16p in one easy motion. This hammer claims to drive like a 28 oz steel hammer and features magnetic nail starter and straight claw design. The handle is coated with a non-slip composite material. This is a serious hammer! At 45% lighter weight than traditional steel hammers it makes it a mandatory tool to have in your arsenal.

In testing, all 3 hammers are very capable. Each performed exactly as predicted and offer the high quality you'd expect from a company who has been making tools since 1849. My personal favourite is the Ti-Bone III, it just feels great in my hand. Make no mistake, these are serious professional tools.

Competitively priced and built to last, I definitely give the Stiletto Series of hammers my TINTO recommendation (Tools I Need to Own).

Until next time
